I have a passion for helping business owners & managers with their financial management to give them control, clarity, and freedom to grow & sustain their business. Experienced Finance Leader with experience in a variety of industries including tech, e-commerce and financial services. My key/favorite skills are Performance Management, Leadership, Business Intelligence, Strategic Planning, and working as a team to deliver high-performing finance functions to different businesses.

Accounts Assistant

Having over 15 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll for small businesses, I am able to help ensure accuracy and compliance for business accounts. I am very happy to be part of the team at Elucidate Accounting, and look forward to working with our clients.

I have travelled extensively, and lived and worked in different countries, which has resulted in being adaptable and open to change in different areas of work and life.

Outside work, I have a passion for animals, nature, and all things organic.

Senior Accountant

What Darren doesn’t know about numbers isn’t worth knowing. As well as a people person, he knows his way around spreadsheets and figures like he knows the football pitch, a football fanatic, he even appears regularly on Catalan TV talking Spanish football.

Darren has provided FD services since 2000, and has held directorships with owner-managed businesses in IT online sales, food manufacture, property and motor vehicle sales and leasing. Darren is currently non-exec director for the Troy Foods Group, a £60m turnover food manufacturer.

Having always made the most of remote working (well before "the cloud" was a thing) in 2009 Darren fulfilled an ambition to live in Southern Europe and now splits his time between the UK and Catalonia.

I have five years of experience in the accounting industry, and I have a proven track record of providing accurate and efficient accounting services to a diverse range of clients. I have expertise in bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax compliance, and financial analysis.I enjoy building relationships with my clients and helping them understand their finances. I got into the field because I love working with numbers, but I've also found that I enjoy working with people.

I am committed to professional growth, and I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and knowledge. I am confident that my extensive experience and impressive credentials make me an asset to any team or organization.

I deal with pressure and stress by engaging in activities outside of work. I enjoy playing badminton on the weekends, which helps me to relieve tension and come back to work refreshed.
